Step 1: Determine the Application of Your Custom Planters

Step 4: Choose Your Custom Planter Color(s)
The application, location, and planter material you choose will dictate which color options are available.
At PureModern, we spray most fiberglass planters with automotive-grade paint. If you provide any RAL, Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, or your favorite paint company color code, we will match it.
For powder-coated aluminum, we prefer TIGER Drylac® Series 38 powder coating.

Step 5: Specify Any Irrigation or Installation Needs
When fabricating your custom planters, we can include irrigation equipment as necessary. For instance, we can incorporate Ollie Plant Sippers, which eliminate visible tubing and use a plant’s natural capillary action to distribute the right amount of water each plant needs .
We can also custom manufacture your planters to meet on-site install specifications, such as when a certain size of predrilled holes are needed to permanently attach planters to concrete with anchor bolts.
Step 6: Confirm Your Project Timelines
We know that our clients often operate with hard deadlines like events, restaurant openings, or corporate banquets.
Once you provide us with dates by which you need planters delivered, we can work backward to construct a timeline. Lead times vary from one week to four months depending on the planter material, and scope of the project. If you need something rushed please let us know as we can make modifications to the current work being done as we are an industry leader in turnaround times for custom planter orders.
Custom modern planter orders can be completed in as little as two weeks for rush projects.

Yes!
When you order free samples, you can see the color and texture first-hand. Place the samples in the right lighting to determine, with confidence, the correct option for you and your client.
Keep in mind that planter color samples are complimentary. Fire pit swatches require a down payment that is credited upon return. Only Modern Elite Planter and concrete fire pit color samples come in the same product color and texture. PurePots color samples come on a heavy plastic that emulates the texture of Fiberglass Planters.

The material you choose dictates the available color options.
At PureModern, most fiberglass planters are sprayed with automotive-grade paint, specifically BASF, known for its highly resistant and durable finish. Any RAL, Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore, or your preferred paint company color code can be matched.
For powder-coated aluminum, TIGER Drylac® Series 38 powder coating is preferred. Color options depend on whether the application is interior or exterior. TIGER Drylac® is VOC-free and designed for industrial uses such as military equipment and communication towers. It is proven to be weather and UV-ray-resistant, with the manufacturer stating, “Based on 5-year Florida exposure, TIGER Drylac® Series 38 exhibits 5.0 (Hunter) color change and > 30% gloss retention.” Additionally, TIGER Drylac® Series 38 complies with the American Architectural Manufacturing Association’s specification AAMA 2604.

PurePots Fiberglass Planters: In-stock planters ship within 1 week of the order date.
COR-TEN Weathering Steel Planters (made to order): Ship 2-4 weeks from the order date.
All other planter brands: Stock planters ship within 1 week of the order date and out-of-stock planters ship within 10 to 12 weeks.

Yes! You can choose from a variety of irrigation and installation solutions to meet your needs.
Irrigation Solutions
Ollie Plant Sippers: These capitalize on a plant’s natural capillary action, requiring 80% less water. You only need to fill the water holding tank every six weeks, conserving resources and saving you time and money.
If you’re planning to hook up to an irrigation system, request custom-cut drainage holes to fit your unique setup.
