PureModern’s 4-Step Project Process

All successful projects follow a process. Yes, there are variations in every project from the type of material used to when the client needs the planters to whether or not we create the drawings for the client or the client provides the drawings.

For every project, no matter the size, we follow our Four-Step Project Process to ensure we don't forget an important step that could affect the outcome and success of your project.

This process is broken into four basic steps; Qualify, Plan and Design, Bidding, and finally Order and Fulfillment.

Step 1 - Qualify That We Can Deliver What You Need

The first step to our process is communicating with you about what your vision is for the project you are working on. We will discuss your design and project goals as well as understand how you are using our products, your budget, and your timeline.

For example, when you are specifying planters for your project, we can help provide ideas and alternatives that might not have been brought to the table. We also offer project examples so you can have a better understanding of the product you will receive.

To ensure we can deliver what you need when you need it, we go through the following items:

Step 2 - Plan and Design to Your Specifications

After the initial discussion about your overall project goals, we will discuss your design requirements, such as what material works best for the intended location. You have made the decision to add planters and now the material and color need to be decided. For example, if the planter will be exposed to saltwater, we would not suggest using weathering steel as a material.

We will determine which planter material works best for your location and budget based on factors such as:

• Whether the planter will be indoors or outdoors
• How much foot traffic will be around the planter
• Whether you need a modular planter or individual planters

Once you determine the material, we are happy to send free color samples to pick the right color that fits the commercial space.

After the material, color, shape, location, budget is determined, then we can create drawings for each planter.

Step 3 - Quote Submission

After you have finalized the material, color, shape, location, and budget, we will create a detailed quote that lays out all the important details specified and send it to you.

This detailed quote indicates the specified drainage, optional custom details such as interior shelves, top lip dimensions, as well as color.

Based on what was decided, we also estimate the time it will take to provide your planters and agree on payment terms.

To ensure we meet your budget requirements and timeline, we go over:

• Project plan takeoff
• Confirm lead times
• Submit and finalize quote
• Agree on terms and conditions

Step 4 - Order and Fulfillment

Once you have approved the quote detailing all the specifications, we create shop drawings when needed for you to approve. We then discuss the ship date and your preferred delivery time.

Depending on the project’s scope, we can provide a mock-up of the planter if needed and adjust the ship date if needed.

To ensure you receive what you expect to receive on time we:

• Provide product mock-ups, if needed
• Shop drawings are reviewed and signed
• The ship date is decided
• Fabrication/manufacturing of the planters is started
• Delivery is scheduled
